How to use the cPanel interface

The cPanel interface is the heart of your hosting account and provides access to important information, settings and updates. The standard homepage is Tools (Tools side).

Overview

The cPanel interface consists of several key sections that help you navigate and manage your account:

  • Navigation line

  • Main menu

  • The Tool Page (Tools Page)

  • General information

  • Statistics


Prerequisites

  • Your hosting service must have support for cPanel in order for you to access the cPanel control panel.


Step 1: Log in to cPanel

If your hosting service supports cPanel, you can log in directly from the landing page in the client area.

This is how you do it:

  • Find your hosting service under the list of active products/services

  • Click on the button "Log in to cPanel"

  • You are now automatically logged into cPanel without having to enter your username or password again


Step 2: Navigation Line

The navigation bar appears in all interfaces in cPanel and gives you access to:

  • Current Account Information

  • Search function

  • Account settings

  • Log out function


Step 3: Search field

Type the function or tool you want to find in the Search Tools field


Step 4: Account settings

To manage account settings:

  1. Click on the user icon

  2. Here you can:

    • Change account details

    • Change password

    • Change languages

    • Update contact information

    • Give feedback

    • Log out


Step 5: Reset interface

4. Select Reset Page Settings to reset the cPanel interface


Step 6: Notifications

If the notification icon (the bell icon) has a red dot, you have messages, warnings or errors.

Click the Notification Icon to see all notifications.
