Overview
Your hosting service includes an automatic WordPress installation via the control panel.
When you have completed this guide, you will know how to install WordPress on your hosting service.
Important information
This guide covers the installation of WordPress on Essential Multi-hosting Website.
If your hosting service uses cPanel, you must install WordPress through cPanel instead.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you:
Have access to your customer area
Are logged in
Have an active hosting service with database functionality
Step 1: Open your hosting service
Open the hosting service you want to install WordPress on in the customer area:

Step 2: Select the WordPress wizard
Step 3: Confirm that your hosting meets the requirements and start the installation
WordPress requires that you have a database available, and a virtual host that is used as the primary address of the WordPress installation.
If both requirements are met, you can click Next.

Step 4: Enter website information
Enter an optional website name — this will become the "title" of your WordPress site
Select which domain you want to install WordPress on (you can also install WordPress on a subdomain by selecting one)
Under Advanced options, select where in the folder structure of your hosting service you want to install WordPress. By default this will be under the
public_htmlfolderClick Next
Step 5: Enter administrator information
This is the information you will use to log in as an administrator on your WordPress site.
⚠️ It is VERY important that you keep this information safe, otherwise you will not be able to log in to WordPress.
5. Enter the desired username for the administrator
6. Enter the administrator's email address
7. Enter a desired password (this should be "Strong", with the bar showing green)
8. Click Next
Step 6: Confirm the details and start the installation
Review the information and confirm that it is correct, then click Install WordPress.
Step 7: Wait for the installation to complete
It may take up to 5 minutes for the WordPress installation to finish. You can view the status of the installation by returning to the Essential Service Overview.
When the installation is complete, this will be shown under Services overview with the message "WordPress deployed successfully".
Step 8: Visit your new website
You can now go to the domain or subdomain you chose to install WordPress on in your browser, and the new site will appear.
You can log in to WordPress by adding /wp-admin to the address bar. For example:
https://getmeasandwich.com/wp-admin
