Important information
⚠️ You must have an active web hosting plan that includes email services in order to create email accounts.
⚠️ The domain must be active and linked to the hosting account before the email account can be used.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you:
Have access to the customer area
Have an active web hosting plan
Have a domain linked to the hosting account
Are logged in to the customer area
Step 1: Open the email service
Find the Email Hosting service and click View details.
You will now open the administration page for your web hosting.
Step 2: Go to email management
Click Manage Mailboxes
The system opens the overview of existing email accounts.
Step 3: Create a new email account
To create a new account, go to the Add a new mailbox section:
Enter the email address you want to create
Enter a desired password (the field will turn green when you have entered a strong password)
Confirm the password
Click Add New Mailbox
The email account will now be created.
Step 4: Confirm the account has been added
Once the account has been created, it will appear in the email accounts overview.
⚠️ It may take a few minutes before the new account is ready to use. Until then, you will not be able to log in using an email client or via webmail.
Troubleshooting
I cannot create the email account
Check that:
The domain is active
The hosting plan includes email services
The email address does not already exist
I receive an error message about storage space
Check that:
The account has not reached its storage limit
The hosting plan has available disk space
I cannot log in to webmail
Check that:
The email address has been entered correctly
The password is correct
The account has finished being created
Emails are not being sent or received
Check that:
The domain's DNS settings are correct
The email service is active
Any MX records are pointing to the correct server
